Up on curbs, in the middle of roadways…”You HAVE to stop at the best angle for the photo, Officer”…

I have that line ready. Haven’t used it yet as Vegas, like the Honey Badger**, don’t care about anything.

Dusk was quite nice that night. I drove up on any curb or sidewalk I wanted. Nobody batted an eye.

Next stop…Nevada and the Hoover Dam.

All the states I’ve visited have been so friendly…they all Welcome me. I take that as permission to park where I want….

But not everybody agrees…

Parking here for about 20 seconds to dismount and take this photo and I received a “Stern” warning. Something about Federal Lands and I could get in big trouble. I wondered if the big trouble amounted to a 10 second warning by a rent a cop…but I just pretended not to speak English and drove off, with a polite wave back…trying to remember how many fingers are needed for a proper wave…

Another area I was not supposed to stop at…but nobody bugged me. If they think I’m going to try and “harm” the dam, shouldn’t they stop me before I get onto the dam??

I had wanted to make one more stop…Meteor Crater. Sadly it was raining…HARD…both times I passed by….So that is saved for next trip.

So far I’ve ridden the Enertia in New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and California. Not bad for a city commuter 🙂
